Custom Full Archive Orders
For serious collectors, art consultants, educators, photographic historians and galleries who are interested in having a complete archive of my history of work in fine-art photography, two LUDF digital files are available.
1. A LUDF file of all my images formatted as screen resolution JPEG files organized in chronological folders. These are suitable for emailing and web use on a custom external thumb drive for $1,000.
2. A LUDF file of all of my images formatted at full large format resolution Tiff and JPEG files for customers who want to make prints for resale to customers and other uses. This archive is available on a large external 2TB Passport drive for $50,000.
THE NEW LUDF CONCEPT FOR FINE ART PHOTOGRPAHIC SALES
- The LUDF file is a limited use digital file that is a full resolution TIFF or JPEG copy of my fine-art digital compositions that allows a customer to make full resolution prints from large scale three-foot to four-foot alumium prints, medium size Gyclee prints or for email and WEB purposes. There is no limitation for the use of a LUDF file for resale or personal use by the customer. However, no alterations of the image per content or design elements are permitted as these are immutable or unchangeable copyright protected principles.

Definition and use of a LUDF Digital File - A Limited Use Digital File (LUDF) is a copy of the original TIFF or JPEG file of a digital photographic composition that I have produced. The LUDF file is to be used by a customer to produce prints, email messages, web-based presentations, print and book publications and for any other personal or corporate purpose. Changes to the LUDF file by a customer are permitted for adjustments of scale, resolution, brightness, and contrast as might be needed to adjust the customer’s prints. However, no alterations of a LUDF file per subject matter and compositional elements are permitted by a customer as these are immutable or un-changeable and are protected by copyright by the artist.
Products that are produced with a LUDF file by a customer can be sold to secondary customers, but the LUDF file itself cannot be re-sold to a second party as it is a copy of the copyrighted file retained by me. After receiving a paid order, I will then send to the customer the full size LUDF file via the WE Transfer program or with a thumb drive via USPS priority mail.

The Visual Metaphor
As a fine art photographer for over 60 years exploring a wide range of photographic techniques to better express ideas, messages and emotions, one of the most important concepts I have employed has been the use of “The Visual Metaphor”.
Very simply, a visual metaphor is the combining of two or more subjects within a photographic composition to create and to illicit new visual responses by viewers. Visual metaphors are not restricted or defined by the limitations of verbal syntax and are an important element of visual communication in the arts.
The placement of disparate subjects within a composition induces responses that are not dependent upon verbal labelling and syntax.

All of these files are available as LUDF digital files on external hard drives at $1,000 per file. Prints can be made from these drives at whatever size and quantity are desired.
THE MACRO PERCEPTION GALLERY
The "Macro Perception" series are compositions that include macro photographed subjects within larger landscapes. This gives the opportunity for visual metaphoric combinations with deeper perceptions of space. MEDIUM FORMAT GALLERY
With the advent of digital fine-art photography the standard approved method for producing prints from photographic digital files has been the Gyclee print. Gyclee prints are archival ink jet prints on acid-free watercolor paper. Since the 1990’s I have been producing several series of 20” by 30” signed and dated Gyclee prints which are available for immediate sale. There are currently available limited editions of two each. After the limited-edition prints are sold, LUDF files for these compositions will be available.
